...WAKE UP ALONE... by Amy Winehouse
-------------------.................

*from 'Back To Black (2006)*

*CAPO 4th FRET*

(Original Key: E)

*NB: All chords are played as Arpeggios*

[Intro]

F E7 Am G# Cmaj7 Am G# Dm C#

[Verse 1]

F E7
It's okay in the day; I'm staying busy.
Am G#
Tied up enough so I don't have to wonder where is he.
    Cmaj7 Am
Got so sick of crying, so just lately;
     G# Dm C#
When I catch myself, I do a 1-80.

[Verse 2]

F E7
I stay up clean the house; at least I'm not drinking.
Am G#
Run around just so I don't have to think a-bout thinking.
     Cmaj7 Am
That silent sense of content that everyone gets,
G# Dm C#
Just disappears soon as the sun sets.

[Bridge 1]

A#
 This face in my dreams, seizes my guts;
D# G#dim
 He floods me with dread.
A# D# C7
Soaked in soul, he swims in my eyes, by the bed.
A# D# G#dim
Pour myself over him; moon spilling in,
G# Gm Bmaj7
 And I wake up a-lone.

[Verse 3]

F E7
If I was my heart, I'd rather be restless.
    Am G#
The second I stop, the sleep catches up and I'm breathless.
     Cmaj7 Am
This ache in my chest, as my day is done now.
    G# Dm C#
The dark covers me and I cannot run now.

[Verse 4]

F E7
My blood running cold; I stand before him.
Am G#
It's all I can do to as-sure him.
     Cmaj7 Am
When he comes to me, I drip for him tonight.
G# Dm C#
Drowning in me, we bathe under blue light.

[Bridge 2]

A#
 This face in my dreams, seizes my guts;
D# G#dim
 He floods me with dread.
A# D# C7
Soaked in soul, he swims in my eyes by the bed.
A# D# G#dim
Pour myself over him; moon spilling in,
G# Gm Bmaj7
 And I wake up alone.
G# Gm Bmaj7
 And I wake up alone.
G# Gm Bmaj7
 And I wake up alone.
G# Gm Bmaj7
 And I wake up alone.

I tried to transpose it 4 st up in order to play it without a capo but it messes things up. Transposed chords are not right.

A G#7
It's okay in the day; I'm staying busy.
C#m G#
Tied up enough so I don't have to wonder where is he.
Emaj7 C#m
Got so sick of crying, so just lately;
G# F#m F
When I catch myself, I do a 1-80.

You're right the tranpose function does not give the correct chords. The capo version however is correct (G# transposed +4 should be the correct C), so there's no need to propose a correction of the tab itself. That's a bug. I'll report it; hope it'll be fixed xoon. Thank you!

OK, it's fixed: the chord sheet mixed sharps and flats (it featured G# AND Ab chords) which confused the transpose function. Should be OK now. Enjoy, and don't forget to rate! ;)
