Dear Heart:Andy Williams
#24 in '64.

#1.
D D7 G
Dear heart, wish you were here,
   D Bm7 Em7 A7
to warm this night.
A7 D D7 G
My dear heart, seems like a year,
      D A G Gm D
since you've been out of my sight.

CHORUS:
  G Gm D Bm
A single room, a table for one,
       G Ddim. Em7 A7
It's a lonesome town all right.

#2.
A7 D D7 G
But soon, I'll kiss you hello,
   D Bm7 Em7 A7
at our front door.
A7 D D7 G
And dear heart, I want you to know,
     D Bm7 Em7 A7 G Em7-5 D
I'll leave your arms never more.

CHORUS:
REPEAT#2.

A sixties smash from Kraziekhat.

The D7 chord sounds about right, but maybe a Dmaj7 chord sounds a bit better (at least for the guitar).
