this is how i learned it and i hope it helps, in the words of the Great Soldja Boy, "YOU"!

INTRO:

Guitar ONE:

e-----0---0---------------------|
b-----5---0---------------------|
g-----6---6---------------------|
d-----6---7---------------------|
a-----4---7---------------------|
e---------5---------------------|

play after second guitar comes in with the melody, with drums in CLEAN and like with reverb.

Guitar TWO:

e--------------12-------12------|
b-9-9-10-10-10----10-10----10---|
g-------------------------------|
d-------------------------------|
a-------------------------------|
e-------------------------------|

play with an echo, delay effect.

VERSE ONE:

Guitar ONE:

e-----0---0----------2----------|
b-----5---0----------2----------|
g-----6---6----------2----------|
d-----6---7----------4----------|
a-----4---7----------4----------|
e---------5----------2----------|

continue with the clean reverb stuff then when the "in this short time" part, end with
last chord, letting it ring.

Guitar TWO:

e--------------------2----------|
b--------------------2----------|
g--777777777777------2----------|
d--------------------4----------|
a-------------------------------|
e-------------------------------|

pick that note on the g-string until you hear the last chord.

CHORUS:

Guitar ONE:

e---0----0----0----0------------|
b---0----5----0----0------------|
g---1----6----5----6------------|
d---2----6----6----7------------|
a---2----4----6----7------------|
e---0---------4----5------------|

Guitar TWO:

e--------0----4----5------------|
b--------5----4----5------------|
g---9----6----5----6------------|
d---9----6----6----7------------|
a---7---------------------------|
e-------------------------------|

play clean with both guitars. oh yeah.

AND THEN, the transition:

Guitar TWO:

e------------------------------- ----------------------|
b------------------------------- ----------------------|
g------------------------------- ----6----4------------|
d-------------2h4--------------- 3X --------------7-------|
a---4--4--4--------------------- ----------------------|
e------------------------------- ----------------------|

so do this after the chorus on DISTORTION, ^
RIGHT AFTER! NO BREAKS! PALM MUTED! |
then after the 3rd time, end with this ----------- (it's an arrow)

VERSE TWO:

Guitar ONE:

e-------------------------------|
b-------------------------------|
g------4-----4---6--6-----------|
d---6-----6---------------------| 8X
a-------------------------------|
e-------------------------------|

play with distortion and palm muted. then do this after:

e-------------------------------|
b-------------------------------|
g------------4----4-------------|
d---6--4--6----6----------------| 8X
a-------------------------------|
e-------------------------------|

ALSO palm muted and on distortion.

Guitar TWO:

e------------------------------- ----------------------|
b------------------------------- ----------------------|
g------------------------------- ----6----4------------|
d-------------2h4--------------- 3X --------------7-------| 1X
a---4--4--4--------------------- ----------------------|
e------------------------------- ----------------------|

play the transition part for the verse 4X.

then both guitars end on:

e---2----|
b---2----|
g---2----|
d---4----|
a---4----|
e---2----|

still with the distortion on, which goes back to...

CHORUS:

Guitar ONE:

e---0----0----0----0------------|
b---0----5----0----0------------|
g---1----6----5----6------------|
d---2----6----6----7------------|
a---2----4----6----7------------|
e---0---------4----5------------|

Guitar TWO:

e--------0----4----5------------|
b--------5----4----5------------|
g---9----6----5----6------------|
d---9----6----6----7------------|
a---7---------------------------|
e-------------------------------|

leaving the distortion on like donkey kong.

from there, immediately go into this:

Guitar ONE:

e-------------------------------|
b-------------------------------|
g------4-----4---6--6-----------|
d---6-----6---------------------| 4X
a-------------------------------|
e-------------------------------|

e-------------------------------|
b-------------------------------|
g------------4----4-------------|
d---6--4--6----6----------------| 4X
a-------------------------------|
e-------------------------------|

Guitar TWO:

e------------------------------- ----------------------|
b------------------------------- ----------------------|
g------------------------------- ----6----4------------|
d-------------2h4--------------- 3X --------------7-------| 1X
a---4--4--4--------------------- ----------------------|
e------------------------------- ----------------------|

for Guitar TWO, play this twice.

a little breakdown:

BOTH GUITARS:

e-44444444-55555555-44444444--0-|
b-44444444-55555555-44444444--1-|
g-55555555-66666666-55555555--2-|
d-66666666-77777777-66666666--2-| 1X
a-66666666-77777777-66666666--0-|
e-44444444-55555555-44444444----|

let the last chord ring, and transition into....

CHORUS:

Guitar ONE:

e---0----0----0----0------------|
b---0----5----0----0------------|
g---1----6----5----6------------|
d---2----6----6----7------------|
a---2----4----6----7------------|
e---0---------4----5------------|

play the first two chords clean, and then on the last two, switch to distortion and
it on through out the whole song.

Guitar TWO:

e--------0----4----5------------|
b--------5----4----5------------|
g---9----6----5----6------------|
d---9----6----6----7------------|
a---7---------------------------|
e-------------------------------|

come in on distortion on the last two chords after Guitar ONE does the first two chords clean.

Play the chorus one more time after and you're DONE!

i hope that helped!
