This song is great, and this is an alternate way from the drop C to play it and I think
sounds really good

Standard tuning, capo 3rd fret

Intro:Em, D, C, Esus4(?)

    Esus4
e|--------|
B|---0----|
G|---2----|
D|---1----|
A|---2----|
E|---0----|

VERSE 1:

Em D C
Marching along, like a good soldier does,
                    Esus4
I'm setting sail, With anchors holding me down,
Em D C
Pack up my bags, stow them away (Stow them away),
                         Esus4
I'm bidding farewell to all that is safe,

CHORUS:

C D
Will I come up for air? come up for air,
Am Em
After a while the current is calling me,
Bm Em
Lulling me, waving goodbye,
Am Em Bm
I'm out here alone, oh God can you save me now?
Sinking, my heart turns to stone,
Em, D, C, Esus4

VERSE 2:

Em D C
Withering away, a shrinking violet dies,
                        Esus4
So full of life, these lights have dried me out,
Em D C
Into the sea, I needed a drink,
                          Esus4
I never thought this would consume me whole,

CHORUS:

C D
Will I come up for air? come up for air,
Am Em
After a while the current is calling me,
Bm Em
Lulling me, waving goodbye,
Am Em Bm
I'm out here alone, oh God can you save me now? (Save me now)
                              C
Sinking, my heart turns to stone (Turns to stone, turns to stone),
Sinking, my heart turns to stone

BRIDGE:

G D
Save me, take me home, Over and over again,
C Esus4
Save me, take me home, Wishing that this all would end,
G D
Save me, take me home, Over and over again,
C Esus4
Save me, take me home, Wishing that this all would end,

FINAL CHORUS:

Am Em
After a while the current is calling me,
Bm Em
Lulling me, waving goodbye,
Am Em Bm
I'm out here alone, oh God can you save me now? (Save me now)

Sinking, my heart turns to stone

Am Em
After a while the current is calling me,
Bm Em
Lulling me, waving goodbye,
Am Em Bm
I'm out here alone, oh God can you save me now? (Save me now)
                              C

Save me, take me home,(Will I come up for air? Will I come up for air?)
C Esus4
Save me, take me home,(Will I come up for air? Will I come up for air?)
G D

Wishing that this, wishing that all this would end.

The tuning and the chords are completly wrong. It's supposed to be in drop C

I know that the right way to play it is in drop C, but this tab is meant to be an alternate way to play it without having to tune down your guitar every time you wanna play it.

Thanks! I didn't want to have to tune down. Pretty good alternative to me! :)
