                            CORRECTED COPY!!

This is currently on Augustana's myspace, it's due on the next album i think..
It's a pretty cool song, this is just a rough idea of the chords. It sounds
pretty much right to me.

Tuning: Standard, **CAPO 4**

   G Em7 G1 Cadd9 D/F Em G2 E/A Em1 G3

e|-3-----3-----3-----3-----3-----0-----0-----0-----3-----0-----------------------------|
B|-3-----3-----3-----3-----3-----0-----0-----0-----3-----0-----------------------------|
G|-0-----0-----0-----0-----2-----0-----0-----2-----0-----0-----------------------------|
D|-0-----2-----0-----2-----0-----2-----2-----0-----2-----2-----------------------------|
A|-2-----2-----0-----3-----0-----2-----3-----2-----0-----3-----------------------------|
E|-3-----0-----2-----0-----2-----0-----3-----0-----0-----0-----------------------------|

Intro: Em7, Cadd9, G, D/F - (x2)

e|---------3-----------------------5--3-------------------------------------------------|
B|-------3---3-----(X3)----------3------3-----------------------------------------------|
G|---4h5---------------------4h5----------4---------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

(To go along with the piano a bit, i've added in the G1 & Em1 chords. It's just used
between chord changes to make it sound authentic, but if you're just wanting to keep it
by all means miss it out)

Verse:

G Em7 (G1)
Anywhere you go, anyone you meet,
G Em7 (G1)
Remember that your eyes can be your enemies,
       G Em7 (Em1)
I said hell is so close, and heavens out of reach,
   Cadd9
but i ain't giving up quite yet,
     D/F
i've got too much to lose,

Chorus:

Em7 Cadd9 G D/F
hold me down, sweet and low little girl
Em7 Cadd9 D/F G
hold me down, sweet and low and i will carry you home,
Em7 Cadd9 G D/F
hold me down, sweet and low little girl,
Em7 Cadd9 D/F *build up-mute*
hold me down.... ...and i'll carry you home.

*INTRO* - Em7, Cadd9, G, D/F (x2)

Verse:

G Em7 (G1)
the rain is gonna fall, the sun is gonna shine,
G Em7 (G1)
the wind is gonna blow, the waters gonna rise,
          G Em7 (Em1)
she said, when that day comes look into my eyes,
    Cadd9 D/F
but no ones giving up quite yet, we've got too much to lose,

Chorus:

Em7 Cadd9 G D/F
hold me down, sweet and low little girl
Em7 Cadd9 D/F G
hold me down, sweet and low and i will carry you home,
Em7 Cadd9 G D/F
hold me down, sweet and low little girl,
Em7 Cadd9 D/F *build up-mute*
hold me down.... ...and i'll carry you home.

Bridge: (Strum down quickly)

(In the background of the bridge)

e|-----------'-----------'---------------------|
B|-----5-----'------3----'---------------------|
G|--------4--'--------2--'-----(ALTERNATED)----|
D|---5-------'---5-------'---------------------|
A|-----------'-----------'---------------------|
E|-----------'-----------'---------------------|

                   Em
and i'll carry you all the way,
         G2
when you say you're fine,
           A/E G3
but you're still young and out of line,
     Em G2
when all i need's to turn around,
   A/E G3
to make it last, to make it count,
        Em G2
i ain't gonna make the same mistakes,
     A/E G3
that put my mama in her grave,
Em G2 A/E(hold) G3(when he goes a bit higher) A/E (quick)
i don't wanna be alone...

Chorus:

Em7 Cadd9 G D/F
hold me down, sweet and low little girl
Em7 Cadd9 D/F G
hold me down, sweet and low and i will carry you home,
Em7 Cadd9 G D/F
hold me down, sweet and low little girl,
Em7 Cadd9 D/F *build up-mute*
hold me down.... ...and i'll carry you home.

*INTRO* - Em7, Cadd9, G, D/F (REPEAT) Finish on G

THE END

Hey, This is an awesome tab, and sounds very real, but on all of the videos, they are playing without capos. They look like they are playing the same chords too.

cheers, erm.. i think the whole thing is, what i've written really is like the standard piano backing chords.. but that's what you need really if you wanna play the song in chords. I'm not sure what they play on guitar. I never used a video to write out the chords, i jst wrote figured out what they were.. but you're right they seem to be playing smething differnt.
