If you look at the tablature legend at the bottom of the tab, you can see that that note is a pinch harmonic. So in this case, you would play the note as you usually would, but instead of strumming it, you pinch the string with your pick and thumb so the string makes a high pitched sound. It's also a matter of finding where to pick on the string to get the best of that sound, so try testing it out a bit and see if you get the hang of it. There's tons of videos out there on YouTube if you still need help. Just look up pinch harmonics and you should be good.
I Play the last note with the 2nd fret on the G string instead of the 3rd fret on the D string. But I am not sure if it is better.
