Find it so difficult to play the E5 rift and sing the verses at the same time. Amazing Tab though! Wish there was a solo...

I agree with slick666 on the difficulty of playing and singing, but I've found that I can capo the 2nd fret and use the intro from the Ver 2 tab (http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/b/bachman_turner_overdrive/let_it_ride_ver2_tab_1418071id_11092013date.htm) plus modify the riff with a hammer-on like so:
------------------------
--------------------------
--------------------------
-2--X-X--2--X-X--2--------
-2--X-X--2--X-X--2--0-2^5-
-0--X-X--0--X-X--0--------

And then instead of doing A7sus2 / Asus2 in the chorus, I use Asus2 / Am.

So I play it that way with capo on the 2nd fret, except the stuff from the tab ver 2 is played unmodified with the capo on, and it works very well for just jammin' it!

Thank you for the addition.
Slight correction to your A7sus2, should be an Am7, then Am7/G, Am7, then just ring the D.
I like playing in Em, for my range, but prefer it in F#m so you can really get the E string droning.
Thanks again for posting.
