A kind of tricky song, but it is a classic! It is off BNL's 1994 album, "Maybe You Should Drive".

[Verse 1]
Cadd2 G6/B A7sus G6/B Cadd2 G6/B A7sus G6/B
The girl works at the store, sweet Jane Saint Clair
Cadd2 G6/B A7sus G6/B Cadd2 G6/B A7sus G6/B
Was dazzled by her smile while I shopped there
Cadd2 G6/B A7sus G6/B Cadd2 G6/B A7sus G6/B
It wasn't long before I lived with her
Cadd2 G6/B A7sus G6/B Cadd2 G6/B A7sus G6/B Am
I sang her songs ah while she dyed my hair

[Chorus]
Am D G Dsus/F# Em7 D Am
Jane, divided, but I can't decide which side I'm on

Cadd2, G6/B, A7sus, G6/B (x2)

[Verse 2]
I'd bring her gold and frankincense and myrrh
She thought that I was making fun of her
She made me feel I was fourteen again
That's why she thinks it's cooler if we'd just stay friends

[Chorus]
Jane doesn't think a man could ever be faithful
Jane isn't giving me a chance to be shameful
Jane, Jane

[Bridge]
Bm G C Dadd94 Dadd94/D# Em
I wrote a letter, she should have got it yesterday
Em F#m Bm
That life could be better by being together
           C Dadd94 Cadd2
Is what I cannot explain to Jane

[Instrumental]
Cadd2, G6/B, A7sus, G6/B (x2)

[Verse 3]
The girl works at the store, sweet Jane St. Clair
Still dazzled by her smile while I shoplift there
No promises as vague as Heaven
No Juliana next to my Evan

[Chorus]
Jane, desired by the people at her school and work
Jane is tired, 'cause every man becomes a lovesick jerk
Jane, Jane, Come on

[Coda]
Cadd2, G6/B, A7sus, G6/B (x8)

[End on Cadd2]

In the first line of the Bridge, try playing Dsus4 and then D , between C and Em. It seem to work.........Thanks a lot, jerk! A down-vote with no explanation? Very uncool. Hate me for a suggestion? Alright, hate you right back, buddy.
