We have an official Sabotage tab made by UG professional guitarists.
Check out the tab
"Sabotage" by The Beastie Boys

This is a correction to the tab which has been online for a while
but is unfortunately not quite correct.
I have used the existing file to create this one so this isn't an entirely
new tab.

N.B. Play with the roughest overdrive you can and try to strum it with a pick, muting
the A, D and G strings appropriatly and hammering on to the C# on the D string
when neccesary, this is how Adam Yauch plays it live.

For example:

G---X----X----11----|
D---X----X----X-----|
A---11---11---11----|
E---X----X----X-----|

If you have a live video of the Beastie Boys you'll know what
I'm talking about, but if not try to get one 'cause this is a fairly weird
thing to try to describe.

The main figure:

G---------11--------11------11------11------11---------------|
D------------------------------------------------------------|
A--/11-11---11-11-11---11-11---11-11---11-11---11-11-11-11---|
E------------------------------------------------------------|

The fill line:

G------------------4----|
D--------------4--------|
A---------4--6---6------|
E----4--6---------------|

That's about it, its a good tune and quite easy apart from the strumming technique
which takes ages to perfect.

I think its an octave lower, but you got the fill right! 3 stars

1) it's not that hard to play the main riff the way you say and 2) you are missing most of the song with this. there's a breakdown-type part, the outro, and the fill changes a few times...all in all 3 stars for effort
