Fucking awesome tune and a well down tab.
What's the technical term for this tuning? Drop C?

This is a great tune and the tabs I'd say sound almost perfect. The one thing you notice is that the whole song has that open tuning sound and when switching to the F power chord it mutes that great open sound. If you watch him play live he plays a much simpler version of chords. I tuned my guitar to C G C F C F when you do this you can play the main 3 chords like he does and its much easier. The Dm7 turn into 222000, the G turns into 002222 and the F turns into 555000. The little slid / hammer on is much easier as you just go from 2nd fret to 4th/5th.
Sounds the same and is based on how it looks as he plays it live, hope this helps.
Ps. Im not trying knock the tabs, who ever put them up is obviously a strong guitar player with a good ear

This song is a little tough to play in the drop tuning--but why not play it in standard tuning? Not all guitars can handle that dropped C! Play the riff at the c on the 6th string 8th fret. I play it with my third finger. Middle finger at 7th fret 5th string and index finger at the G 4th string 5th fret. So then get the nice sound by alternating from 7th fret 5th string to the 8th fret- as you get the song going. Its a C chord with the alternating F. Then it's easy from there. Dm7 at the 5th fret- G barre at the third and I play the F chord at the 5h fret (full d chord shape). It's easier to play, and if you are going solo- you won't be messing up the chord changes because they are traditional shapes. Better for that open mic appearance for sure. The e flat 6 can be played at the third fret like the f chord above. Sounds fine. okay to play a c chord when needed here and there. Great Great song. Thanks to the original tab.
