How Can You Mend A Broken Heart– Bee Gees
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Written by: Barry Gibb/Maurice Gibb/Robin Gibb
From: "Trafalgar" (1971)

Tabbed by: maguri
Tuning: Open D

This song sounds beautiful with an open tuning like Barry Gibb uses it on
the original recording. I suggest an open D tuning (the strings are tuned down
- so no danger of broken strings!) and then putting a capo on the 2nd fret
to make it sound in E major. The shapes aren’t difficult either – one just
needs a little time to get used to them. I named the chords like you hear
them, so it is easy to just play along in standard tuning, too (see the
voicings for standard tuning). Enjoy!

Absolutely beautiful arrangement! If you are not a pro, you should be! My only suggestion might be playing the B Major as a bar chord 7-7-7 7-7-7. It's easier to switch from the A Major 5-5-5-5-5-5 and works just as well

Just a lovely piece of work here. Sounds fantastic in Open D (capo 2)
