Ben Howard - GRACIOUS
(What a beautiful song)

Hello everyone, thanks for looking at my tab, this is my version of the song.
I heard this song for the first time today after one of my students asked if I could
teach it to her and I loved it.
Hopefully you guys can learn it as well as Jess has!
See what you think.

Lets get started:

TUNING (ALTERNATE)
I believe he uses open F tuning (CFCFAC), with a 2nd fret capo

However I didnt have a capo when figuring this song out, so I have used open G6 tuning
(DGDEBD) with no capo and it sounds awesome!

Do use DGDEBD and dont be put off by alternate tunings, they may take a bit of getting
used to at the beginning, but eventually you will be able to tune your guitar up and down
easily. If in doubt, use a decent guitar tuner to help you.

For that part: D¦---x-----x-----x-----x--¦ B¦---x-----x-----x-----x--¦ E¦---0-----0-----0-----9--¦ D¦---0-----0-----0-----0--¦ G¦--14----14----11-----9--¦ D¦--12----11-----9-----7--¦ what about using the same chords forms that the rest of the song? I think it sounds better on acoustic guitar (I'm not very keen on playing chords after the 12th fret). I use these chords: D¦---x---x----x-----x--¦ B¦---x---x----x-----2--¦ E¦---0---0----4-----0--¦ D¦---7---7----0-----0--¦ G¦---7---6----5-----2--¦ D¦---------------------¦ This way when you come back on the x00500 it sounds the more in harmony, imho. Thanks for the tab, great song to play!
