Ben Folds Five- Magic

Dm C F
From The back of her big brown eyes,
Dm C F D#m C
I knew you’d be gone as soon as she could,
F D#m C
And I hoped she would.

(Same chords)
We could see that you weren’t your self,
And the lines on your face did tell us this aswell,
You’d never be your self again.
Saw you last night,
                           C Dm
Danced by the light of the moon,
Stars in your eyes,
                         C Dm
Free from the life that you knew.

(same chords as verse)
Shala la la la lie,
Sha la la la la la la
De da da da da da

Dm C F D#m C
Your the magic that holds the sky up from the ground,
Dm C F D#m C
The draft that blows these cool winds around,
Dm C F D#,m C
Trade places with an angel now.

Saw you last night,
Danced by the light of the moon,
Stars in your eyes,
Free from the life that you knew
Saw you last night,
Light in your eyes,
Danced in my room.

(same as first verse)
Sha la la…..

this is all technically correct, however if you play it with a capo on the 5th fret with the chords Am, G, C, F, G - it sounds heaps better. also verified by the live version which is played with a capo (on the 4th). otherwise, good work!

those lyrics rnt correct....check 'um out. u switch from "U" to "she" in the first verse, and the last line of the last chorus is "smiled in my room"...otherwise great chords
