1.
In my hands, I hold the ashes
In my veins, black pitch drums

2.
Dark clouds gather 'round me
Due northwest, the soul is bound

3.
And I ask for no redemption
In this cold and barron place

1.
In my chest, if I can catch this
In my way, the setting sun

2.
And I will go on ahead, free
There's a light yet to be found

3.
Still I see the faint reflection
And so by it, I got my way

I imagine this song is going to get a lot more popular following the airtime on The Walking Dead tonight. Congrats to Ben Nichols.

Great tab! Thank you. Yes, I just heard this song from Walking Dead and I'm learning how to play it now but I really wish I heard this song a long time ago. I love it

Ben has been trying to be heard for over 12 yrs I think and I'm just 24, being around my older brothers, my oldest brother s best friend told me to listen to lucero, his names rudy and a arts teacher in a university at kentucky. I'm a street artist as well.my talents are versatile, i have skills in drawing and painting, exc. different medias, using all earths elements. Including playing guitar and knowing other stuff. But, listening to "The war" and a couple other songs to listen to and study. I knew eventually he'll be recognized for his true talent. So i'm a fan of real passionate artist around, & Ben falls in that category to making real music with real insturments because it won't be around as much as what the younger croud listens to. Ben carrys no ego, he's truly himself and loves playing & i hope the fame doesn't get to deystroy his true happiness within himself making him lose that touch of making that passionate real music he keeps creating. Because nothing is better than an honest person, It truly shows you even if it takes 13 or more years, what ever you put your mind into you can accomplish.
