[Intro] D C G Bb D C G Bb D/F# Gmaj7 D G/B A G/B D A G/B

D G/B D A
I've seen the lights go out on Broadway
Bm G A
I saw the Empire State laid low.
F#m7 Bm
And life went on beyond the Palisades,
B7sus2 D
 They all bought Cadillacs
A G
 And left there long ago.

D G/B D A
They held a concert out in Brooklyn
Bm G A--Asus4-A
To watch the Island bridges blow.
D/F# G
 They turned our power down
D G/B
 And drove us underground
A G/B D
But we went right on with the show

[INTERLUDE x2] D D A Asus4 A

D G/D D
I've seen the lights go out on Broadway
Bm G A Asus4 A
I saw the ruins at my feet
F#m7 Bm B7sus2
You know we almost didn't notice it
B7sus2 A G A
We'd see it all the time on Forty-Second Street.

D G/D D
They burned the churches up in Harlem
Bm G A Asus4 A
Like in that Spanish Civil War
D/F# G
 The flames were everywhere
D G/B
 But no one really cared
A G/B D
It always burned up there before

[INTERLUDE x2] D D A Asus4 A

D G/D D
I've seen the lights go out on Broadway
Bm G A Asus4 A
I watched the mighty skyline fall.
F#m7 Bm B7sus2
The boats were waiting at the Battery
B7sus2 A
 The union went on strike
           G
They never sailed at all.

D G/D D
They sent a carrier out from Norfolk
Bm G A Asus2 A
And picked the Yankees up for free.
D/F# G
They said that Queens could stay
D G/B
 They blew the Bronx away
A G/B D
And sank Manhattan out at sea

[INTERLUDE x2] D D A Asus4 A

D G D A
You know those lights were bright on Broadway
Bm G A
But that was so many years ago
F#m7 Bm B7sus2
Before we all lived here in Florida
B7sus2 A G
Before the Mafia took over Mexico.
D G/D D A
There are not many who remember
Bm G A
They say a handful still survive
D/F# G
 To tell the world about
D G/B
The way the lights went out
A G/B Bb
 And keep the memory alive

[CODA] (repeat for as long as u like): D C G Bb

I would like to suggest the interlude actually uses Bm instead of D.

Bm can always substituted for D as it's (Bm) the sixth in key and the relative minor.

I think it sounds good if you use A/C# for the 1st A in the Verses (after "Broadway"), small change, but great job!
