This is the new artist Birdy's version, normally played by piano but can be played
by a guitar too.

They're quite simple chords, standard tuning with a capo on 4.
Am - 002210
G - 320010
C - 032010

[Intro]
Am, G, C, Am (x2)

[Verse 1]
Am G C
Come on skinny love just last the year
Am G C
Pour a little salt we were never here
      Am G C
My my my – my my my – my my my my – my my …
                 Am G C
Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer

Am G C
I tell my love to wreck it all
Am G C
Cut out all the ropes and let me fall
      Am G C
My my my – my my my – my my my my – my my …
             Am G C
Right in the moment this order’s tall

[Chorus 1]
  Am G Am C
I told you to be patient I told you to be fine
  Am G Am C
I told you to be balanced I told you to be kind
       Am G
In the morning I’ll be with you
            Am C
But it will be a different kind
        Am G
I’ll be holding all the tickets
              Am C
And you’ll be owning all the fines

[Verse 2]
Am G C
Come on skinny love what happened here
Am G C
Suckle on the hope in lite brassiere
      Am G C
My my my – my my my – my my my – my my …
       Am G C
Sullen load is full so slow on the split

[Chorus 2]
  Am G Am C
I told you to be patient I told you to be fine
  Am G Am C
I told you to be balanced I told you to be kind
    Am G Am C
Now all your love is wasted then who the hell was I?
              Am G
Cause now I’m breaking at the britches
           Am C
And at the end of all your lines

[Verse 3]
Am G C
Who will love you? who will fight?
    Am G C
And who will fall, far behind?

[Outro]
Am G C
Come on skinny love ……

Am G C

      Am G C
My my my – my my my – my my my – my my … (x2)

Am G C (x2)

if you play Am, G, C. You end up playing Riptide by Vance joy.

You can also replace the G chord with the F chord--I personally like the sound of that better.

Swap all the Am's with the C's and then it sounds mostly fine
