An easy way to play this three chord song is to capo the 3rd fret and play the Am chord shape (Cm/G), the C chord shape (G), then slide the C shape up two frets (F) or play the D chord shape (F). The other advantage to this version is that because the Chorus is so high to sing, you can easily capo down a half-step (capo 2), a full step (capo 1), or three half-steps (open) so that it is easier to sing the chorus. This gives you options. :).
