Strumming

Standard Tuning
On the top two linesof evry part I have seperated it by plaing the intro, play the chord open, then cuff.
Sometimes in concerts Tom says "take your pants off" at the ending of the 2nd time you play the
riff in the intro.

[Intro] Play 4 Times
---------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------
---------5-5--7--------5-5--7-------5-5--7--------7-7---5------
----8-8-----------3-3----------5-5-----------1-1---------------

[Verse]
C G A F
It's alright to tell me what you think about me
C G A F
I won't try to argue, or hold it against you
C G A F
I know that you're leavin, you must have your reasons
C G A F
The season is callin, your pictures are fallin down

(Play Intro Twice)

[Verse]
C G A F
The steps that I retrace the sad look on your face
C G A F
The timing, and structure, did you hear he f***ed her
C G A F
A day late, a buck short I'm writing the report
C G A F
I'm losing, and faling when I move I'm flailing now

[Chorus]
C G A
And it's happened once again, I'll turn to a friend
F
Someone that understands, sees through the master plan
C G A
But everybody's gone, and I've been there for too long
F
To face this on my own, well I guess this is growing up

(lay Intro Twice)

[Verse]
C G A F
And maybe I'll see you at a movie sneak preview
C G A F
You show up, and walk by on the arm of that guy
C G A F
And I'll smile, and you'll wave we'll pretend it's ok
C G A F
This showrave, it won't last when he's gone I won't come back

[Chorus]
C G A
And it'll happen once again, you'll turn to a friend
F
Someone that understand, sees through the master plan
C G A
But everybody's gone, and you've been there for too long
F
To face this on your own well I guess this is growing up

Don't ask about this next part. I have no idea. Maybe someday I'll make a tab for it and post it.

For the ending play the intro 4 times while repeating "Well I guess this is growing up" 5 times and
ending on a "C" chord.
