alright, so there's a lot of conflicting shit out there for this song. lots of goofy tunings, attempts to
shoehorn it all into standard tuning, and a lot of it is just wrong. this  tab's derivation of justin's tuning
is based on the very distinct diference in inflection between the ring of an open string and the more muted
timbre of a fretted note. it is 100% correct. if you believe different, fight me irl, i'll kick your ass.
just kidding.
 
quick note on capo and tuning before i divulge the secret: justin plays this with a capo on the fourth fret.
as you will see, he tunes some strings several semitones above standard tuning, which places stresses on your
guitar's neck it it might not be set up to handle. he plays in open E, but i prefer to tune it down a half
step to open e flat. if you do like i do, capo on the fifth fret instead to play along
