Notes:
This slight variation makes it sound similar to the mix of low and high tones
in Bon Iver's version, when it is tuned down to C.

Only four chords:
Em7 022033
Cadd9 x32033 (or x32030, or x32003 - gives nice variation to mix between these three)
G 320033 (with same variations on B and e string as the Cadd9)
D/F# 200233

Between the chords G and Em, you could to add one strum of:
G/F# 200033

In the chorus, as a little extra:
Em7 Cadd9 G (2 strums, then slide to xxx055 and back down to G)
Come on skinny love just last the year

[Verse 1]
Em7 Cadd9 G (G/F#)
Come on skinny love just last the year
Em7 Cadd9 G
Pour a little salt, we were never here
        Em7 Cadd9 G
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
               D/F# Em7
Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer
Em7 Cadd9 G
Tell my love to wreck it all
Em7 Cadd9 G
Cut out all the ropes and let me fall
        Em7 Cadd9 G
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
              D/F# Em7
Right in this moment this order's tall

[Chorus 1]
      G
And I told you to be patient
      D/F# Cadd9
And I told you to be fine
      G
And I told you to be balanced
      D/F# Cadd9
And I told you to be kind
       G
In the morning I'll be with you
           D/F# Cadd9
But it will be a different kind
        G
I'll be holding all the tickets
D/F# Cadd9 (trail out, strumming GBe strings)
And you'll be owning all the fines

[Verse 2]
Em7 Cadd9 G
Come on skinny love, what happened here?
Em7 Cadd9 G
We suckled on the hope in lite brassieres
        Em7 Cadd9 G
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
       D/F# Em7
Sullen load is full, so slow on the split

[Chorus 2]
      G
And I told you to be patient
      D/F# Cadd9
And I told you to be fine
      G
And I told you to be balanced
      D/F# Cadd9
And I told you to be kind
        G
And now all your love is wasted
         D/F# Cadd9
And then who the hell was I?
        G
And I'm breaking at the britches
           D/F# Cadd9
And at the end of all your lines

[Verse 3]
G D/F#
Who will love you?
Em7 C G/F# (bass notes only, one strum)
Who will fight?
G D/F# Em7 Cadd9 (trail out again, hammering 0-3 on e string)
Who will fall... far behind?

Em7 Cadd9 G (G/F#)
Come on skinny love just last the year
Em7 Cadd9 G
Pour a little salt, we were never here
        Em7 Cadd9 G G/F#
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
        Em7 Cadd9 G
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my

You can also just not play the high E string and play Em C(hammer on 40-42) G and G/F# atleast that how i do it Come on skinny love just last the year and then for "Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer" the 1st chord instead of D/F play XX2010 sounds much better to my ear. oh well nice tab over all ty for sharing
