MORE THAN A FEELING
by Tom Scholz - Boston

D X X 0 2 3 2

Start:

                / \
fade in : D G(C) G(B) G(G)

                / \
          D G(C) G(B) G(G)

          D G(C) G(B) G(G)

                                  / \
  D G(C) G(B) G(G)
I looked out this morning and the sun was gone,

                        / \
D G(C) G(B) G(G)
Turned on some music to start my day,

                        / \
     D G(C) G(B) G(G)
Then lost myself in a familiar song,

  D G(C) G(B)
I closed my eyes and I slipped away...

G C Em D

     G C Em D
It's more than a feeling (more than a feeling)

       G C Em D
When I hear that old song they used to play
                               (more than a feeling)

    G C Em D
And I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)

       G C Eb Em7
'Til I see Marianne walk a-way,

D G(C) G(B) G(G)
So many people have come and gone,

      D G(C) G(B) G(G)
Their faces fade as the years go by;

    D G(C) B(B) G(G)
Yet I still recall as I wonder on,

   D C G
as clear as the sun In the summer sky

Hey This is a great arrangement. I have some students learning this and sometimes can get easily lost when playing so the lyrics is very helpful. Thank you!
