WELCOME TO THE FUTURE

My first attempt at tabbing - er - anything. All the tabs I had seen used
the traditional C but when I watched his video I noticed that this wasn't
what he was playing. If anyone knows the chord name for what I am calling
"CaddD", please let me know. With that said - thank you to everyone who
has tabbed this song because without you I probably would be lost.

GaddD - 320033
CaddD - X32033
D - XX0232
Csus2 - X30033
Em - 022000
C - X32010
Dsus2 - XX0230
Dsus4 - xx0233

G CaddD G D
When I was ten years old I remember thinkin' how cool it would be

D CaddD Csus2
When we were going on an eight hour drive

Haha CaddD is properly named Cadd9
"D" is the "ninth" note in the C scale and Cadd9 is a VERY common chord :)

Fairly decent job. A couple of small mistakes, but close enough that I won't have to transcribe it myself and post it. The only thing I'd like to add, is in the verse, where you have G, Cadd9, G and D, that's actually going to be G, C, G/B and D. There's movement in the bass from G, to C, to B and then to D. This dictates the use of a slash chord - the G/B, which is x20003. Also, your use of the Cadd9 is good, but I believe there are parts where it's not used. I don't hear the "D" and when I play it on my guitar, it sounds out-of-place. So, all in all, not a bad first effort - certainly more correct than the others, but not without its own mistakes. Keep transcribing!
