Lovers in a Dangerous Time

Actually, it's by Bruce Cockburn, but the ladies do a pretty decent version
of it too. This is how I do the song, not the same key as Cockburn, but
you get the idea.

Capo 4th fret

G Am F
Don't the hours grow shorter as the days go by
G Am F
You never get to stop and open your eyes
G Am F
One day you're waiting for the sky to fall
G Am F
And next you're dazzled by the beauty of it all

            G Am F

Lovers in a dangerous time

G Am F

This vibrant skin, this hair like lace
G Am F

G Am F
Never a breath you can afford to waste

The version below should have it's own posting because I found it before and lost it. I couldn't find it until I looked at the bottome of this one. It's the most satisfying tab that I've found... It's not exactly how Bruce does it because he usually comps bass lines but it sure sounds good for fakin' it!!!

If you want to play the first version in Bruce's key on the record, put the capo on the 4th fret.
