Hey man good job for deconstructing da robot man's masterpiece! Overall I think you nailed it, though I do have a lil sum sum with regards to part 11. I'm pretty sure this is one of those sequences that has one of his trademarks painted all over it, i.e hybrid picking. Your tab is spot on with the notes that he plays but here's something I'd add to make it even better.
First off consider the aural mayhem of the lead guitar. Take a metronome, cut the tempo in half (about 90ish bpm) and play along according the tab. It's missing something, right? Now do it again but this time try picking the root on E in between every single one of the tab's notes, starting right after the first 14th fret on the D string. You'll have to skip a string two times per chord (the chord progression being E-D-C-B) but I think it sounds a touch closer to the original. It's very difficult, but hey it's Buckethead we're dealing with :D
Another thing to think about when it comes to these kind of repeating but fast passages is the position on the neck. Now you could play the same passage with the tab, with your pointer finger starting at E 12th fret, moving a full step down to 10th fret E, then 8th on E and finally 7th fret E. That's one way to do it. There are times, however, when certain riffs become easier or harder depending on the position you play in. For me the first half of part 11 gets a lot easier if I play it mainly around the A string, making a sort of claw with my hand.
Also regarding the left hand I really like to finger the aforementioned root note with my middle finger, moving with the progression of course. The part gets a lot easier to play that way. In a nutshell I'll hit the first two high notes with my pinky (9th on G string and 9th on the D) then 5th on the D with my _index_ finger, then D 9th (pinky), G 9th (pinky) and finally D 9th (pinky) before the rhythm moves down to D chord. I'm keeping the claw position all the way through the first half of part 11 as the whole thing pretty much repeats itself. The only difference is the distance between the notes (we started with E minor and the rest are major chords) but the claw works if you modify it slightly to accomodate a major chord. I forgot to mention I'm also picking the root on A as I wrote earlier.
Oh boy, I never intended to write a book this Friday but here we are. I'm Finnish so I hope I made myself clear as English isn't my native language. Also I'm hoping this is of use to someone. Anyway, I wish all the best for any and all Buckethead fans!
I'll end this with a question that has been racking my brain ever since I started learning this song back in 2010. I really do believe he picks the root note in between the high notes, but is he picking it once or twice every time?
