Subject: MaybeBaby.crd; Buddy Holly; (correction)

This is a correction of a posting I made last year. I erroneously put a D
major where there should have been an F#m.

Maybe Baby
Norman Petty, Charles Hardin

[Verse 1]

A F#m
Maybe baby, I'll have you
A F#m
Maybe baby, you'll be true
A D E A-D-E
Maybe baby, I'll have you for me

[Verse 2]

It's funny Honey, you don't care
You never listen to my prayers
Maybe baby, you will love me someday

[Bridge]

A D
Well, you are the one that makes glad
A D A
And you are the one that makes me sad
D
When someday you want me, well,
E
I'll be there, wait and see

Repeat Verse 1

Repeat Bridge

Repeat Verse 1

A D A D A
Maybe baby, I'll have you for me

The chord display showing how to play the F#m chord is incorrect. The bar should be on the 2nd fret and 3rd and 4th fingers on the third fret

It is not incorrect you are. There are several variations for playing the F#m don't spread false information.
