Did you mean “Richard” Carpenter? I saw “John” Carpenter & it sounded wrong, so I looked it up to be sure & The Carpenters were Karen and Richard Carpenter…maybe you meant John Lennon (who wrote the song with Paul McCartney—who you list as MaCartney)😊
