Seasons
by Chris Cornell
from the Singles motion picture soundtrack
I've seen a few tabs for this song but none in this tuning.
I think it sounds better with all the droning strings.
I've just tabbed the individual parts-it' up to you to put it all together.
GOOD LUCK!

That's pretty much it. Ther's a harmonic in there-it's all six strings at the 12th
fret. In the background throughout the song you can hear a mandolin--if you want to
fake it with a guitar try alternating between these:
F---------12-------12-------12-------12----------12---------------------------------------|
C------12-------12-------12-------12-------12---------------------------------------------|
F---12-------12-------12-------12-------12----12------------------------------------------|
C-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
F-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
And:
F-------0-----0-----0-----0-------0-------------------------------------------------------|
C-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0-----------------------------------------------------------|
F---0-----0-----0-----0-----0---0---------------------------------------------------------|
C-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
F-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Hope that helps!

On the record, it's Open F5 tuning... Low to high FFCCCC. You can tell in the harmonics and when he barres the top 4 strings on the ascending chorus part. They ring out nicely in this tuning. His tech said he wote it in Dropped D but then starting twisting the pegs and to make the song more hypnotic... I don't know of any other song in which he used that tuning. Just a 1 time thing. And thank god! Because he killed it! What a classic this is! RIP

Hi, this tuning seems a bit off...
im fairly sure that chris c plays it in an FFCCCC.
not sure what that tuning is even called, but pretty sure its right-i have seen him play it in the tuning mentioned here, but man its way easier in FFCCCC. easy to self tab once you've tuned correctly.

Correction: The high E should be tuned up to F... Sorry bout that! lol! One of the guitars on "The day I Tried to Live" is also in this tuning...
