Just came back to the comments to see why this sounded slightly off to me, and noticed someone above mention that it was better in Eb tuning, followed by noting that it was the Stone Sour version. I then changed over to the Chris Isaak version and it sounded better. So I decided to scroll back down and upvote whoever was kind enough to put that information. Turns out it was me one and a half years ago. Thanks, old me!
