[Lyrics/Chords]
Em C
True you ride the finest horse, I've ever seen,
D Em
Standing sixteen one or two, with eyes wild and green.
Em C
You ride the horse so well, hands light to the touch
D Em
I could never go with you no matter how I wanted to.

[Chorus]
Em
Ride On,
C
See you,
D Em
I could never go with you no matter how I wanted to.

[Chorus]
Em
Ride On,
C
See you,
D Em
I could never go with you no matter how I wanted to.

[Verse]
When you ride into the night, without a trace behind
Run your claw along my gut, one last time.
I turned to face an empty space. where you used to lie
And look for the spark that lights the night through a teardrop in my eye.

[Chorus]
Em
Ride On,
C
See you,
D Em
I could never go with you no matter how I wanted to.

[Chorus]
Em
Ride On,
C
See you,
D Em
I could never go with you no matter how I wanted to.

(You can now play the intro/outro solo or continue fingerpicking.
Either way the song now fades to a close.)

Seems to me this song starts with a Cm chord, and is probably played with a capo on 3 and with a Am - F - G - Am chord shape progression with the simple arpegio.

Sorry, I made a feckin' hames of trying to edit the other one, With the CAPO on the 3rd (THIRD) FRET, try playing it this way. ......Am.................F................G................Am e|----------------------------------------------------------| B|---------------------------1-0-1--------------------------| G|---------------------2-----------2------------------------| D|-------2-----------2---3-----------2--0-----------0--2----| A|-----0----2-0-2-3---------------------------3-2-3-------0-| E|--0-------------------------------------3-----------------| With your fingers in the chord shapes, you can noodle on the other strings as you play the main notes. Hope I have managed to set this out so it doesn't turn to junk.
