This song is off the currently unreleased album. It's up on his myspace though. I've not
on any vids so my chords might not be spot on. They sound alright for now i guess. It
alright with the song.

Tuning: Standard (Capo 2)

Chords

    Em    Cmaj7/G   Gmaj7/A    G6/9

e|--0--------0--------0--------0-------------------|
B|--0--------0--------0--------0-------------------|
G|--0--------0--------0--------2-------------------|
D|--2--------2--------4--------0-------------------|
A|--2--------3--------5--------2-------------------|
E|--0--------3--------5--------3-------------------|

When playing the verse, lift your finger on and off of the 2nd fret of the G string while
playing the Cmaj7 and G6/9 to get the proper sound.

NOT SURE if the G6/9 chord, the E string should be muted (x), it sounds alright if muted
held on 3, either way, whichever sounds better to you.

The little background bit that's played in the chorus is:

e|-------------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------------------|
G|-------0h2--2/4-----------0h2--0------(REPEATED)-------|
D|---0h2---------------0h2-------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------|

[Verse]

Cmaj7/G G6/9
A coma might feel better than this
Cmaj7/G G6/9
Attempting to discover where to begin
Cmaj7/G
You're weighed down, you're full of something
   G6/9
Of sickness and desertion
Cmaj7/G
You're weighed down, you're full of something
       G6/9
You're underneath it all

[Chorus]

Em G6/9
So say goodbye to love
Gmaj7/A Cmaj7/G
And hold your head up high
Em G6/9
There's no need to rush
               Gmaj7/A
We're all just waiting
          Cmaj7/G
Waiting to die

(here just strum the first two chords once and then wait and strum downx2 on the last chord)

e|--0---0---0-----------------|
B|--0---0---0-----------------|
G|--0---0---0-----------------|
D|--2---2---4-----------------|
A|--0h3-3---5-----------------|
E|--0---3---5-----------------|

[Verse]

Cmaj7/G G6/9
Hope in a better place is all I need
Cmaj7/G G6/9
With moments of innocence and mystery
Cmaj7/G
Oh, it's the little things you miss
  G6/9
Like waking up all alone
Cmaj7/G
Oh, it's the little things you miss
             G6/9
When you're underneath it all

[Chorus]

Em G6/9
So say goodbye to love
Gmaj7/A Cmaj7/G
And hold your head up high
Em G6/9
There's no need to rush
               Gmaj7/A
We're all just waiting
          Cmaj7/G
Waiting to die

[Bridge]

(strum (down)DDDD..etc at a quicker pace)

Gmaj7/A Cmaj7/G
All your friends seem like enemies
                            Em
When you're broken down and empty
    Cmaj7/G
Oooh oooh
Gmaj7/A Cmaj7/G
All your friends seem like enemies
                            Em
When you're broken down and empty
    Cmaj7/G Em...........
Ooooh oooh

[Chorus]

So say goodbye to love

And hold your head up high
Em G6/9
There's no need to rush
               Gmaj7/A
We're all just waiting
          Cmaj7/G
Waiting to die

(Repeat the chorus chords)

Ohhhhh ohhh ohhhhhhh
Ohhhhh ohhh ohhhhhhh
