Verse 1

A D A D
When it's my moment in the sun
A D A D
  Oh, how beautiful I'll be
A D A D
but in a normal sort of way
A D A D
Like I am you and you are me

A-D (4 times)

Verse 2: Same as Verse 1

'Cause I have a lot of things to say
and you'd be wise to listen good
I think that hunger, war and death
are bringin' everybody down

Chorus:

E
laaa lala laaaaa

lala laaaaaaa lala
              A D A D
laaaaaa laaaaa LaLa

Verse 3: Same as 1 and 2

When it's my moment in the sun
I'll share my problems with the world
and psychosomatically I'll sing
to God and all His pretty girls

Chorus 2: same as chorus 1, but more La's

laaa lala laaaaa
lala laaaaaaa lala
laaaaaa laaaaa

Verse 4: Same as verse 1-3

When it's my moment in the sun
I won't forget that I am blessed
but every hero walks alone
thinking of more things to confess

Outro: A D repeat a lot.
