Birds Chords

One of my favorites off of CJ's Adobe Sessions album. Couldn't find a tab when I first decided to play it so I figured it out myself. Cody plays with no capo, but I like to play with the capo on. Matches up with studio version perfectly. Was this info helpful?

C G D
Tell me old man, where have you been?

I've been reading those stories about chasing the wind

I've never really quite known what to do
[Verse 2]

Sometimes the things we seek skew the point
C G D
Sometimes the whole damn world seems out of joint
[Pre Chorus]
Em
And it makes me wonder
G
And it makes me want to live
[Chorus]
C G
So I'll steal freedom while there's still some
D Em
And take the whole world in
C G D Em
If I could only leave my worries with the birds of the wind
C G
And I know one day there'll be solace
D Em
So I'll just live until then
C G D Em
If I could only leave my worries with the birds of the wind
[Instrumental Break]
C G D D X2
[Verse 3]
C G D
Old man I know you've had questions too
C G D Em
The same ones we've been askin' of you

You just roll on back out of sight
C G D
Stealin' away again, like a child in the night
[Pre Chorus]
Em
Still full of wonder
G
And you still want to live
[Chorus]
C G
So you steal freedom while there's still some
D Em
And take the whole world in

You've learned to leave your worries with the birds of the wind
C G
And you know one day there'll be solace
D Em
So you'll just live til then
C G D Em
And you learn to leave your worries with the birds of the wind
C G D Em
If I could only leave my worries with the birds of the wind

great song, one of my favorites as well.....try tuning down 1/2 step and use chords F, Am, Em, C, G, and a combination there of.....no capo...and see how that sounds...just another option
