Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
Finally, someone had to lay out the chords for this song. This is my favorite Coheed
song ever, so having done this was an honor. Please let me know if there are mistakes, but
personally I think this sounds close enough.

Chords are:
F#
G#
A
D
E
G

Listen to the song for strumming patterns. You can make them up accordingly. I found
several different patterns that work for it, so have fun with it as you like.

F# A G# E
Listen to the world out on the outside pressing in
F# A G# E
are you ready on my mark?
F# A G# E
fingers given names and with the last word they ascend
F# A G# E
on the comfort of their well
F# A G# E
being...
F# A G# E
in arms
F# A G# E
into something they can't stop but wish that they could kill
F# A G# E
you're the answer to their prayer

[CHORUS]
F# G# A E D
                 in your last hour stand
F# G# A E D
                 you'll notice
F# G# A E D
the one that you had loved in dreams is here among the others
F# G# A E D
chase it's you I want
D E A G
but if I can't have her then why should I spend any more time in a world that's going to
end pretty soon?
D E A G
I need you now more than I ever did, I'll hand myself over for you
D E A G
this comlink's lost its frequency and I feel that we're coming home short
D E A G
here take me instead I'd rather not see her off alone

F# A G# E
scattered amongst the killing streets the children slate defense
F# A G# E
is god's work to have us fail?
F# A G# E
rivered blood streams out the dead as bodies foul the air
F# A G# E
I'll make peace when this is done
F# A G# E
in arms...
F# A G# E
we storm
F# A G# E
slowly the streets begin to fill with new flesh bound to bone
F# A G# E
armed and ready it begins again...

[CHORUS]

A D
tonight
A G
we storm
A D A G
tonight...

A D A [x4]
F# G
A D A

A G E
deliver a favor to my love [x4]

[CHORUS]

If you're quick enough, you can even play a C# and B in between the F# A and A G#, respectively, during the verses.

So it looks like this, for example:

F# C# A B G# E
Listen to the world out on the outside pressing in
F# C# A B G# E
are you ready on my mark?

Have fun!
