guitar tuner
set tempo
Bubbly by Colbie Calait

For those of you who don't want to retune your guitar to play this song,
here is a good alternative.

Tuning: Standard
Capo 9th Fret

Chords Used:

Chords relative to capo:

F or Fmaj7

 C Cmaj7 F

-0- -0- -x-|
-1- -0- -1-|
-0- -0- -2-|
-2- -2- -3-|
-3- -3- -x-|
-x- -x- -x-|

Here's how to play it:

  C C Cmaj7 Cmaj7 F F C C

The chords for this song repeat in the same way:

C, Cmaj7, F, C

Then you repeat. The bridge is played:

c, F, C, F, C, F

These chords are strummed. Note the last two chord changes of the bridge happen a
little faster, listen for the timing.

In many of Colbie's live versions of this song she plays the chorus just like the verse.
In the album version of this song the chords are picked during the chorus and at the end
of the song. You can listen and figure this out. It's not hard. As long as you're
playing the right chords, you should be able to figure out a suitable picking pattern.

I always think it's cool when someone posts an alternative to all the alternate tuning songs. Thanks so much for the
most accurate non-alt-tuning version yet...One thing: When I tried this, the F didn't quite sound right so I played an
Fm (133111)instead...and it seemed to fit better to my ear. Anyway, this is awesome. Thanks for saving me the
annoyance of re-tuning my guitar to play one song!

Oops...on that Fm, I meant the fingering was (xx3211). Yeah, try barring the first fret after having a capo on the
ninth - LOL - Your finger will feel like it's falling off.

Okay, me again...and with that fingering, it once again makes that chord a regular F and it also makes me an idiot for
saying it was an Fm when what I'm really trying to say is just add the first finger on the first string. My apologies.
Christ, I'm having a blonde day.
