There are many versions of this song but none seem completely perfect,
I think the song should be played like this:

Tuning: EADF#Be
    A Asus2 E Esus4 D F#m/C#
e |-0-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0--|
B |-0-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0--|
D |-7-----7-----6-----7-----12----11-|
A |-7-----7-----7-----7-----12----12-|
E |-5-----5-----0-----0-----10----9--|
*the numbers are relative to the capo

Capo 3

A Asus2 A Asus2
E Esus4 E Esus4
A Asus2 E Esus4

    A Asus2 A Asus2
Oh morning come bursting, the clouds amen
 E Esus4 E Esus4
Lift off this blindfold, let me see again
Bring back the water, let your ships roll in
       A Asus2 E Esus4
In my heart she left a hole

     A Asus2 A Asus2
The tightrope that I'm walking just sways and ties
     E Esus4 E Esus4
The devil as he's talking with those angel's eyes
And I just want to be there when the lightning strikes
         A Asus2 E Esus4
And the saints go marching in

             A Asus2 A Asus2 E Esus4 E
And sing sloooo-ooooo-ooooo-oooow it down
          Esus4 D
Through chaos as it swirls
                     A Asus2 E Esus4
It's us against the world

        A Asus2 A Asus2
Like a river to a raindrop, I lost a friend
     E Esus4 E Esus4
My drunken as a Daniel in a lion's den
And tonight I know it all has to begin again
               A Asus2 E Esus4
So whatever you do, don't let go

                  A Asus2
And if we could float away
  A Asus2 E Esus4
Fly up to the surface and just start again
     E Esus4
And lift off before trouble
Just erodes us in the rain, just erodes us in the rain
       A Asus2 E Esus4
Just erodes us and see roses in the rain

         A Asus2 A Asus2 E Esus4 E Esus4
Sing sloooo-ooooo-ooooo-oooow it down
    D A Asus2 E Esus4
Sloooo-ooooo-ooooo-oooow it down

A Asus2 A Asus2
E Esus4 E Esus4
A Asus2 E Esus4

                      D F#m/C#
Through chaos as it swirls
                     E Esus4 E Esus4
It's us against the world
                      D F#m/C#
Through chaos as it swirls
It's us against the world

The final chord of the song sounds like it should be an E7 - there sounds like there's an F thrown in there somewhere.

I've got to say it is a nice suggestion you got there about the E7 and I've been figuring out for the past hour what it really is now.I figured out Chris Martin plays an normal E (076500) on the end but the bass player Guy Berryman plays an D note in the end instead of the E note (in relative to the capo ofcourse) which makes it sound like an E7. So for now I'll keep it an normal E but if you like to play an E7 just go ahead. This is the E7 chord: 056500.Oh and what do you mean with the F thrown in there somewhere?
