[Verse 1]
G Em Am C
I look about seventy years older
G Em Am C
It feels like minutes but really it's hours
G Em
The cooling pavements calling my name and
Am C
The zooming street signs don't look the same, no
G Em Am
Don't know why but I think I'm ready for it
C
Yeah, I think I'm ready for
[Pre-Chorus]
G
Running on concrete,
Em
electricity
Am
I finally can breathe
C
I think I'm ready for
G
Only you and me
Em
We made it out it seems
Am
I made it out it seems
C
I think I'm ready to
[Chorus]
G Em Am C
Grow, to grow
G Em Am C
To grow, to grow
[Verse 2]
G
Familiar sounds
Em Am C
The lake holds all our secrets
G
Nostalgia bound
Em Am C
Yeah, I'll take my time evolving
G
Dreaming of phone calls
Em
You knew all along
Am C
The way we joked 'till we laughed our tails off
G
See it all unfold
Em Am
An emerald life before me
C*
Yeah, I think I'm ready for
[Pre-Chorus]
G
Running on concrete,
Em
electricity
Am
I finally can breathe
C
I think I'm ready for
C
Only you and me
Em
We made it out it seems
Am
I made it out it seems
C
I think I'm ready to
[Chorus]
G Em Am C
Grow, to grow
G Em Am C
To grow, to grow
[Bridge]
G Em
Yeah I see it coming, I see it coming
Am C
Oh, boy I'm running, oh boy I'm running
G Em
I see it coming, I see it coming
Am C
Oh, boy I'm running, and oh boy I'm running, running
[Chorus]

Grow, to grow
G Em Am C
To grow, to grow

Your reality,
Em
don't know where it'll be (Grow, to grow)

But everything's a dream

I think I'm ready for

Only you and me (To grow, to grow)

We made it out it seems

I made it out it seems

Pro tip for ukulele, whenever there’s a C after a Am, add the C onto the Am, it sounds a lot more like the original ;)
