Artist: Cornershop
Song title: Brimful of Asha
as it appears on: When I was Born for the Seventh Time

previously tabbed by Jake Drennan (drennaj3102@uni.edu)
recently transcribed by Ben Meza(benj@mail.utexas.edu)
Lyrics correction by Anne E Baecheley

Okay, I just saw this song performed live on Conan O'Brian
and I am almost 100% positive this is how the band played it.
I borrowed the lyrics, beats and bass line from the previous
guy who tabbed this song out so here it is - the same tab but
with the correction of the chord progression.

     G D C

this is the bass riff proposed by the previous author...
Bass riff that gets played during the chorus and the break:
   A E D

and to the song...
G D C (x4)

G D C
There's dancin' behind movie scenes
behind the the movie scenes (sadidrani???)
She's the one that keeps the dream alive
G C G
from the morning past the evening to the end of the life

G D C
Brimful of asha on the 45 (x4)

G D C (x2)

I'm dancin' behind movie scenes
behind those movie screens (ashabozli???)
She's the one that keeps the dream alive
from the morning past the evening to the end of the life

And singin' illuminatin' mainstreets
and the (cinema isles???)
We don't care about no government warnings
bout the promotion of the symbols and the dams they are building

G C G C

So, so wrong! The first chord is no way a G, the others are closer but still wrong!

Just say no kids!

These chords are wrong indeed...
The real song is in Bb... The tricky thing is that a Key changer is used to high up the chords of 1/4 or 1/6 tone (I'm not sure which one is correct - my ears suggest 1/6). Infact you can easily hear that the first chord comes out of a slightly bended Bb...Key changers are DJ stuff, so we guitarists'd better play this song in Bb, which is the nearest possible to the real one
