[Verse 1]

G F
Some folks are born, made to wave the flag
C G
Ooh, they're red white and blue
G F

Ooh, they point the cannons at you, y'all

[Chorus]

G D C G
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no senator's son y'all
G D C G

G F
But when the tax man comes to the door
C G

G D C G

G F
And when you ask 'em "How much should we give?"
C G
They only answer "More! More! More!", yoh

[Chorus]

G D C G

Russ Pate: First of all, anyone who starts a comment using the word "nigger" betrays his ignorance immediately and largely invalidates anything he says thereafter. Secondly, and more to the point the tab is largely correct, except that guitar 2 ends its little riff on G, not A. If you can't hear that, put down your guitar, get out of the trailer and get some edyumickation, redneck. Lensen: Hello, those are the same chords he tabbed, except that Fogerty knows how to play all 6 strings. Why don't you and Dave Mustaine go and have a circle jerk in Low-Chug Palm Mute-ville? Not all tunes are metal, you jackass. Furthermore, if you can't figure out that the tabbed part is the intro and the chords are notated in the song, maybe you should start a band with Russ Pate. I'm pretty sure the only reason it "sounds like rubbish" is that you are the one playing it. When I play it, it sounds like CCR. May I recommend "the Woefully Inadequate" as a band name for you?
