Fogerty has just done a Tiny Desk show, in which he and his family play Proud Mary. If you look closely at him and his daughter, he is playing a full step above her. I can only assume he tunes his guitar down,but then plays a step up.The song is definitely in D, although he appears to be playing in E. I've never seen that before, I have to say.
