*No Capo*

Tuning: D# G# C# F# A# D#

(INTRO)

Am G F E

(VERSE)

        Am G
Humble moon, what now do I do?
                  F
A restaurants' plastic glass,
                       E
at house party with your hip flask
                     Am Dm
Has he kept you precious like a locket?
                 E
The pale night alive

Through your jeans tight,
                               F G
cigarette box outline in your pocket

               Am G
We're in the bathroom and you perch on the sink
              F E
I begin to infatuate, exasperate, resuscitate
                 Am
By day the cat sleeps,
                  Dm E
but at night how he moans through the windows perspex
                                                       F G
We sit and talk about sex because it's all we have in common, don't you know

(CHORUS)

          C Am
And it's youth, ever fading youth
                       F
Would you have lived differently
                                   G
if you had known this life was on loan?

(VERSE)

               Am G
I recall the blue first night I met you,
                       F
and gaze through the passing time
                  E
Your hair was henna and wine
                         Am Dm
The contrast in what I dream and reality
                         E
Took you back from the club while your friends all did drugs,
                       F G
we never spoke about love, just mortality

(CHORUS)

          C Am
And it's youth, ever fading youth
                       F
Would you have lived differently
                                   G
if you had known this life was on loan?

          C Am
And it's youth, ever fading youth
                       F
Would you have lived differently
                                   G
if you had known this life was on loan?

(BRIDGE)

 C
All of these nights you just trawl the same streets
  Am
Tell the same stories, you count the heart beats
    F
Obsess with the death of the miracle days
         G
I CAN FEEL ALL YOUR DREAMS START TO FLICKER AND FADE

(CHORUS)

          C Am
And it's youth, ever fading youth
                       F
Would you have lived differently
                                   G
if you had known this life was on loan?

(OUTRO)

 C
Youth, ever fading youth

Don't follow the suggested way to play the chords - it's meant to be played the way you'd play those chords when tuned normally

Yes you should tune 1/2 step down an play the chords in their regular shapes Am, C, G etc.. But why rate it 1 star? Please do elaborate. I mean others have rated 3-5 stars, so what makes it worth 1 star in your opinion? If there's something very wrong with the tab tell me and I'll edit it, makes it better for everyone else who's looking for the most accurate tab.

If you wanna play it in standard, Transpose -1 and play those chords.
