[Intro]

high E string, Dsus4 D Dsus4 D D Dsus4 D Dsus4 D,
listen to the song to get the exact rhythm.

[Verse 1]

C G F D/Dsus4
One morning I woke up And I knew you were really gone
C G F D/Dsus4
A new day a new way and new eyes to see the dawn
Am C F D/Dsus4
Go your way and I'll go mine carry on

(same chords progression)

The sky is clearing and the night has cried enough
The sun, he come, the world to soften up
Rejoice, rejoice, we have no choice but to carry on

The fortunes of fables are able to see the dawn
Now witness the quickness with which we get along
To sing the blues you've got to live the tunes and carry on

[Chorus]

(A capella)
Carry on
Love is coming
Love is coming to us all

D Am C F
Where are you going now my love? where will you be tomorrow?
D Am C F
Will you bring me happiness? will you bring me sorrow?
        D C Am G D C Am G
Oh, the questions of a thousand dreams, what you do and what you see
D C G F D
Lover can you talk to me?

[Verse 2]
(same as verse 1)

Girl when I was on my own, chasing you down
What was it made you run? trying your best just to get around.
The questions of a thousand dreams, what you do and what you see
Lover can you talk to me?

Based on the bass line of the original recording, the end of each verse of Carry On should be Am C G D (rather than Am C F D). Just talking about the Carry On verses, not the Questions verses.

I agree with wmills.on.gm. Also, it sounds like it's in drop (with the capo on the 1st fret). The G and F chords would be strings 6, 5 and 4 barred at the 6th and 4th frets respectively (5th and 3rd frets in relation to the capo).

whoops, left out the "drop D" portion.

was: ". Also, it sounds like it's in drop (with..."
should be: ". Also, it sounds like it's in drop D (with..."
