A lovely Graham Nash song.
Just a suggestion, but these are the shapes I use for the first part of the verses:

G = xx5433
G/F# = xx4433
Em7 = xx2033
G/D = xx0033

I also use a G4/D instead of the C/D:

C/A C/B G4/D C/B C/A C/B G4/D C/B
...play your love songs, all night long for...

G4/D = xx0013

In the coda, as the last vocal note descends,
I add a little ascending riff.
G
...to - day-------------!
e |------------------||
B |--0-----0--3--0---||
G |--0--0--------0---||
D |--0-----------0---||
A |--2-----------2---||
E |--3-----------3---||
