I would like to preface this tab by stating that this is probably NOT
exactly like how Damien Rice played this song on the album, and it is
definitely NOT how he plays it live. However, these are the same chords,
possibly with a few variations from what he plays, and almost certainly with
different fingerings for some of them. However, this definitely sounds
exactly like the song, and I'd rather not hear about whether or not this is
how Damien Rice plays it. I don't care, even a little bit.

I saw a spaceship fly by your window, did you see it disappear?
Em Cadd9 D/F# G
Amie, come sit on my wall, and read me the Story of O
Am Em Cadd9 D/F#
Tell it like you still believe the end of a century is a change
For you and me
G D/F# Em Cadd9 Riff 2
Nothing unusual, nothing's changed, just a little older, that's all
Am Em
You know when you've found it, there's something I've learned
Cadd9 D/F#
'Cause you can feel it when they take it away
G D/F# Em Cadd9 Riff 2
Then something unusual, something strange, comes from nothing at all
Am Em Cadd9
I'm not a miracle, and you're not a saint, just another soldier
D/F#
On a road to nowhere
Em Cadd9 D/F# G
Amie, come sit on my wall, and read me the Story of O
Am Em Cadd9 D/F#
Tell it like you still believe the end of a century is a change
For you and me
Em Cadd9 D/F# G
And Amie, come sit on my wall, and read me the Story of O
Am Em Cadd9 D/F#
Tell it like you still believe the end of a century is a change
For you and me
G D/F# Em Cadd9 Riff 1 (Repeat until you feel like ending)

I was so frustrated that everyone's tabs are wrong that I was about to post my own... but then I found yours.
YES, it's played with capo on 7th fret. And YES THOSE are the right chords. Thank you.
(I ended up having to learn it by ear, which wasn't hard since he has the same chord and playing concepts in most of his music. I've pretty much figured out his style to his chords)
But I couldve saved time by looking at your accurate tab. Thanks again

Thank you for this tab, very close and first to have all lyrics, well done.
I would suggest some fine tunings though, based on how he plays it:
- Am should be an Am7 everywhere
- Chorus is more like: Em/B - C/G - Dadd9add11/A - G6 | Cadd9 - Bm (Bm7) - Am7 - C/G - Dadd9add11/A - G6

What's funny is that this IS more or less how he plays it. It IS on the 7th fret with slightly different fingerings on some chords.
