[Verse]

          E
And so it is
                     Aadd9
Just like you said it would be
             Badd11
Life goes easy on me
Aadd9 E
Most of the time
    E
And so it is
          Aadd9
The shorter story
          Badd11
No love, no glory
          C#m
No hero in her sky

[Chorus]

        A
I can't take my eyes off of you
           G#m
I can't take my eyes off you
           F#m
I can't take my eyes off of you
           E
I can't take my eyes off you
           Aadd9 Badd11
I can't take my eyes off you
           Aadd9 Aadd9 Badd11 E
I can't take my eyes...

[Verse]

E
And so it is
        E Aadd9
Just like you said it should be
        Aadd9 Badd11
We'll both forget the breeze
Aadd9 E
Most of the time
E
And so it is
E Aadd9
The colder water
Aadd9 Badd11
The blower's daughter
        C#m
The pupil in denial

[Chorus]

          Aadd9
I can't take my eyes off of you
           G#m
I can't take my eyes off you
           F#m
I can't take my eyes off of you
           E
I can't take my eyes off you
           Aadd9 Badd11
I can't take my eyes off you
           Aadd9 Badd11
I can't take my eyes...

[Interlude]

F#
Oooooooooohh
F# Bsus2
Did I say that I loathe you?
                G#m
Did I say that I want to
C# D#m
Leave it all behind?

[Chorus]

              B
I can't take my mind off of you
              A#m
I can't take my mind off you
              G#m
I can't take my mind off of you
              F#
I can't take my mind off you
            B C#
I can't take my mind off you
        B
I can't take my mind...
        B
My mind...my mind...

'Til I find somebody new

like this a lot. theres a variation of E at the end of certain parts of the verses where it changes from 022100 to 022200 (maybe its an Eadd9, not exactly sure) Beautiful song.

The F# is correct. In fact you can think of it as a key change, as thereafter the song is all played a tone higher (check the tab, it's right). Also, Rice sometimes plays the E chord like: 0-7-9-9-0-0 with 0-7-9-8-0-0 used as a transition between verses (you'll hear what I mean when you play it.)
