Verse 1
D A
Where is the moment we needed the most
D A
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
Bm A G
They tell me your blue skies fade to grey
		   F#m E
They tell me your passion's gone away
	     G A
And I don't need no carryin' on

Verse 2
D G A
You stand in the line just to hit a new low
D G A
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go
Bm A G
You tell me your life's been way off line
                  F#m E
You're falling to pieces everytime
            G A
And I don't need no carryin' on

Chorus
		    D G
Cause you had a bad day, You're taking one down
		Em A
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
		  D G
You say you don't know, You tell me don't lie
		Em A
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
	      Bm A
You had a bad day, The camera don't lie
		    G F#m
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
	       E A D
You had a bad day, You had a bad day

Play these between the chorus and the 'pre-chorus'

D	A	D	A

'Pre-chorus'
Bm A G
Well you need a blue sky holiday
		   F#m Em
The point is they laugh at what you say
	     		     A
And I don't need no carryin' on

Chorus

You had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day (Hold the 'E')
E
(Oh.. Holiday..)

Bridge
F
Sometimes the system goes on the brink
	Bb
And the whole thing turns out wrong
    F

	       Bb
That you could be well oh that strong
	     A
And I'm not wrong

(Playing between bridge and chorus)

So where is the passion when you need it the most
	   D G A

		    D G
Cause you had a bad day, you're taking one down
		Em A
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
		  D G
You say you don't know, You tell me don't lie
		Em A
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
	      Bm Bb
You had a bad day, You've seen what you like
		A G
And how does it feel for one more time
	      E A D
You had a bad day, You had a bad day

Had a bad day
Had a bad day

It don't need a half step down but the G is missing in the first two lines. Sounds good playing with CD.
