[Intro]: E E#7 Asus2 Bsus2

E E#7
  Down in a local bar
                     E
Out on the Boulevard

The sound of an old guitar
   E#7
Is saving you from sinking
       Asus2 Bsus2
It's a long way down, it's a long way

E E#7
  Back like you never broke
                      E
You tell a dirty joke

He touches your leg
                E#7
And thinks he's getting close

For now you let him
Asus2
Just this once
Bsus2
Just for now
    Asus2
And just like that
     Bsus2
It's over

      Em
Don't turn away
Asus2
Dry your eyes, dry your eyes
      Dbm
Don't be afraid
            Asus2
But keep it all inside, all inside
         Em
When you fall apart
Asus2
Dry your eyes, dry your eyes
Dbm
Life is always hard
        Asus2
For the Belle of the Boulevard

[Riff]

E E#7
  In all your silver rings
                          E
In all your silken things

That song you softly sing
   E#7
Is keeping you from breaking
       Asus2 Bsus2
It's a long way down, it's a long way

E E#7
  Back here you're never lost
                          E
You shake the shivers off

You take a drink
            E#7
To get your courage up

Can you believe it?
Asus2
Just this once
Bsus2
Just for now
    Asus2
And just like that
     Bsus2
It's over

      Em
Don't turn away
Asus2
Dry your eyes, dry your eyes
      Dbm
Don't be afraid
            Asus2
But keep it all inside, all inside
         Em
When you fall apart
Asus2
Dry your eyes, dry your eyes
Dbm
Life is always hard
        Asus2
For the Belle of the Boulevard

[Solo]

E E#7
Please hold on, it's alright
Dbm Bsus2
Please hold on, it's alright
Asus2 Bsus2
Please hold on

E E#7
  Down in a local bar
                     E
Out on the Boulevard

The sound of an old guitar
   E#7
Is saving you

      Em
Don't turn away
Asus2
Dry your eyes, dry your eyes
      Dbm
Don't be afraid
            Asus2
But keep it all inside, all inside
         Em
When you fall apart
Asus2
Dry your eyes, dry your eyes
Dbm
Life is always hard
        Asus2
For the Belle of the Boulevard

So... yeah. It's my first tab, so please don't kill me over it.

Bleh... some chord names are wrong, but the chord tabs I put up were right, and change the Em to E's (I mistook them for each other when I tabbed this out), and everything should play fine. I have no idea why this went under "Unregistered" when I was logged in.
