intro: D - Esus4 (x3) - D - A

verse 1:
D A Em
Well, I don't know how to say this right
          G D
And the words got me chokin'
         A Em
I keep hittin' this wall, It's never gonna fall
      G D
And we're still broken
           A Em
This mountain we've been trying to climb
       G
It's never-ending
D A
Just can't do nothin', Gotta do something
        Em
'Cause if we don't open up our eyes
        G D
We're just pretending

pre-chorus:
                 C G
Well, there's a time for givin' up
        Em G
Didn't want to have to say it
         C G
All we doin' is building walls
                 A
And now there's too many barriers

chorus:
         D A
Here we are lying here
          Em G
It's our last final goodnight
        D A
Just because it feels so good
           Em G
No use pretending we're alright
           D A
Too many locks, too many crimes
           Em G
Too many tears, too many lies
            D Em
Too many barriers
 A
Ohhh
                 D
Just too many barriers

A - Em - G

verse 2:
D A Em
Now we've been draggin' this whole thing out
            G D
But I can't wait any longer
             A Em
Our love's burning down, Creepin' in the doubt
            G D
We're not getting any stronger
            A Em
I hear you say that we're doin' OK
           G
But, baby, I don't think so
D A
Just can't do nothin', gotta do something
             Em
'Cause if I don't get into my car
   G D
I won't go very far.

Repeat pre-chorus

Repeat chorus

bridge:
A D
Just too many barriers
         A
That we keep running into
 Em G
Been tryin', but we just can't break through
D A
I know I'm gonna keep wishing I was with you
Em G
But we just gotta stop

         D A
Here we are lying here
          Em G
It's our last final goodnight
       D A
Just because it feels so good
            Em G
No use pretending we're alright
           D A
Too many locks, too many crimes
          Em G
Too many tears, too many lies
           D
Too many barriers
D A
And you hurry to get somewhere
         Em G
And the road's tryin' to block ya, block ya
D A
And you feel like you're nowhere
             Em G
'Cause the world's tryin' to stop ya, stop ya
           D
Too many barriers

It's a capo on the first fret, not the second.

And a number of the chords don't really fit as well as others. Like the Em doesn't really belong... kinda changes the feel of the song. The pre-chorus is totally off.

Capo on first fret, it sounds more like the CD version.:)
Good job.
