Song: Changes (David Bowie)
Album: Hunky Dory

[Intro]
[4/4]

Cmaj7 Db6 Dm7 Eb7 F7 D F7 D F7
                             Oh yeah

[Verse]

C Em7
Still don't know what I was waiting for
       F
And my time was running wild
G F
  A million dead-end streets and
C Em7
Every time I thought I'd got it made
              F G
It seemed the taste was not so sweet
     Cmaj7 Dm7 Em7 Emb7
So I turned myself to face me
    Dm7 G
But I've never caught a glimpse
           Cmaj7 Dm7 Em7 Emb7
Of how the others must see the faker
              Dm7
I'm much too fast to take that test

[Chorus]

G F
  Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes
C C/B
Turn and face the strange
C/A C/G
  Ch-ch-Changes
F F/E [2/4] D [4/4]
Don't want to be a richer man
G F
  Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes
C C/B
Turn and face the strange
C/A C/G
  Ch-ch-Changes
F F/E [2/4] D
It's gonna have to be a different man
[3/4] F/A C/G Bb F
       Time may change me
   C/E G/D F/A C [4/4]
But I can't trace time

[Verse]

C Em7
I watch the ripples change their size
       F
But never leave the stream of warm impermanence
C Em7
And so the days float through my eyes
              F G
But still the days seem the same
     Cmaj7 Dm7 Em7 Emb7
And these children that you spit on
    Dm7 G
As they try to change their worlds
           Cmaj7 Dm7 Em7 Emb7
Are immune to your consultations
              Dm7
They're quite aware of what they're going through

[Chorus]

G F
  Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes
C C/B
Turn and face the strange
C/A C/G
  Ch-ch-Changes
F F/E [2/4] D [4/4]
Don't want to be a richer man
G F
  Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes
C C/B
Turn and face the strange
C/A C/G
  Ch-ch-Changes
F F/E [2/4] D
It's gonna have to be a different man
[3/4] F/A C/G Bb F
       Time may change me
    C/E G/D F/A C Dm Em
But you can't trace time

[Bridge]

F C F/C C
Strange fascination, fascinating me
F G
Changes are taking the pace I'm going through

[Chorus]

G F
Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes
C C/B
Turn and face the strange
C/A C/G
Ch-ch-Changes
F F/E [2/4] D [4/4]
Look out you rock'n'rollers
G F
Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes
C C/B
Turn and face the strange
C/A C/G
Ch-ch-Changes
F F/E [2/4] D
Pretty soon now you're gonna get older
[3/4] F/A C/G Bb F
Time may change me
    C/E G/D F/A C Dm Em
But I can't trace time

[Ending]

            F/A C/G Bb F
I said that time may change me
   C/E G/D F/A C
But I can't trace time

This isn't the simplest, but it's the most accurate. Thanks so much for this.

The chord changes in the chorus are so fun to play through

Instead of F/A, C/G, Bb, F, C/E G/D, F/A, C, Play Fmaj7,C Bb F, C, G/D Fmaj7, C. It doesn't sound much different, and it's way easier to play.
