O Holy Night
By: David Crowder Band
Tabbed by:Rob D

These should be mostly correct to how he plays, there are a few weird spots where
the time signature changes in the song. Chords should be correct. Enjoy!!

Verse 1:
B E B
O holy night, the stars are brightly shining;
                       F#m B
It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth!
B E B
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
           Bb D#m
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
F#m B
A thrill of hope, the weary soul rejoices,
F#m B
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

G#m D#m C#m G#m
Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices!
B F#m B E B F#m B
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!

Verse 2: (same as verse 1)
Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is love and His Gospel is peace.
Chains He shall break for the slave is our brother
And in His Name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
Let all within us praise His holy Name!

G#m D#m C#m G#m
Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we,
B F#m B E B
His power and glory ever more proclaim!

Chorus: (same as before)
Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!
O night Divine, O night, O night divine!

E B
E B
E B
E B F#m B

These are the Chords that I use, of course there are many other ways of playing
this but I like the sound of these. To each his own :)

    E B F#m C#m G#m D#m Bb

To help- Crowder's playing this song with his guitar tuned to Eb and playing in C formations. There's a few chord errors and missing pieces but mostly there. Again though- tune down a 1/2 step and play in C and you'll be golden.
