                             DOOM - Deerhoof

Tabbed by: Misha

Tuning: standard, but if you want to sound exactly like the recording you may need
to slightly sharpen the strings

this song is very simple - nothing fancy going on in the bass, no fills, nada.
play clear, even notes using your fingers, not a pick. the main line (found in
the intro, interlude, and what i'm calling the "chorus" i guess) should be played
staccato.

intro (x1)
G|---------------------------------------7-7------5------7-7-----------------|
D|----7-7-------5-------7-7---------------------7---7------------------------|
A|------------7---7--------------------5------5--------5------5--8-7-5-------|
E|--5------5----------5------5--8-7-5----------------------------------------|

no bass during the verse ("how do you want to live...")

musical interlude + "chorus" ("deny-y-y-y"s) -- same figure as above (x3)
G|---------------------------------------7-7------5-------7-7----------------|
D|----7-7-------5-------7-7---------------------7---7------------------------|
A|------------7---7--------------------5------5---------5------5--8-7-5------|
E|--5------5----------5------5--8-7-5----------------------------------------|

"bow your head and pray" (x1)
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---7---0---3---------7---8---10--------7---8---10--------------------------|

no bass for 8 bars

then this figure: (x4)
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-----4---4----------4------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------5------5--4---------------------------------------------------------|

no bass thru "or save up to leave..."

then that same figure again: (x6)
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-----4---4----------4------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------5------5--4---------------------------------------------------------|

now back to the line from the intro/chorus (x3)
G|---------------------------------------7-7------5------7-7-----------------|
D|----7-7-------5-------7-7---------------------7---7------------------------|
A|------------7---7--------------------5------5--------5------5--8-7-5-------|
E|--5------5----------5------5--8-7-5----------------------------------------|

"bow your head and pray" (x1)
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---7---0---3---------7---8---10--------7---8---10--------------------------|
